Become a Volunteer

When you volunteer with Palliative Care ACT you make a wonderful contribution to the life of those with a terminal illness. You also get a great sense of satisfaction and the knowledge that you have made a difference to the life of someone in need.

What do volunteers do?

Volunteers can choose from a range of activities including:

  • help with the care of patients (which can be as simple as just talking with them);
  • assist with fundraising; or
  • becoming a life story writer.

You can find out more about at Our Volunteers.

Join us for a delicious breakfast at Hotel Realm and be entertained by Jean Kittson, Australian performer, writer and comedian. Jean is also a women's health advocate and presents a lighter tone on the issue of death and dying and wants people to start the talk before it’s too late.
