High Tea at The Lodge

High Tea at The Lodge

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT!

Palliative Care ACT is hosting a High Tea at The Lodge as a fundraising event for our home-based and residental care volunteer program on Saturday 20 May from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Tickets are $100 and include a glass of local bubbles on arrival. Enjoy tea, coffee and an assortment of delicious cakes and savoury treats.

Around 80% of Australians would prefer to die in their own home, yet only 14% actually do. The demand for our home-based and residential care services are increasing weekly and we urgently need to train more volunteers to provide support to those who wish to die at home and their families.

The High Tea also marks the start of National Palliative Care Week. The theme for this year’s National Palliative Care Week is ‘You matter, your care matters. Palliative care can make a difference’.

Palliative Care ACT wish to acknowledge the Honourable Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister of Australia, and Ms Lucy Turnbull AO, for enabling this function to be held at The Lodge.

To purchase your ticket for this very special event go to https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/high-tea-at-the-lodge-tickets-32877295877?aff=efbevent  Tickets will be available until 16 May or until sold out.

On-street parking is available along National Circuit, Grey Street and Canterbury Crescent in Deakin.  Entry to The Lodge will be through the National Circuit entry.  All attendees must present photo identification.

Thank you to our corporate partners for their generous support with this event.
